Samsung announced this morning two new standard definition camcorders the Samsung SMX-C14, and Samsung SMX-C10. Both camcorders feature Samsung’s “Touch of Color” finish that was introduced on this years flat-panel HDTV’s. The finish blends a hint of a color into a deep black finish to give the device an “attractive crystalline appearance.

Recently Cisco purchased the company Pure Digital, maker of the popular Flip series of camcorders, for a pretty sizable pile of cash. Now the company is releasing its very first camcorder since the buyout, the Flip Ultra HD. The high-definition camcorder lets you easily record high-resolution videos and upload them to the Web, all for under $200.

Toshiba is showing off a new compact HD camcorder that is sure to bring more than a few interested customers to the company. The camcorder, which is capable of taking 5-mgapixel pictures as well as shooting 1080p video, will have a final price tag of less than $200.

YouTube has recently added “Download this Video†links so several of its videos, primarily those that are political in nature, which allows you to download the videos onto your computer and watch them later. Long-term the download option is expected to be rolled out onto other videos as well, but for right now it’s pretty limited. So what do you do if you want to download a YouTube video that’s NOT currently available for download? Here’s some ways to get the job done:

The Samsung M8800 could be said to be a camera with a phone attached — a growing trend — rather than a mobile phone with a camera. But it has gone a step too far. The model I have seen is in pink. There are many things that a chap can do to keep his job. Carrying a pink mobile, no matter how desirable in other ways, is not one of them

The Flip MinoHD High-Definition video camera is immensely affordable and portable. It produces picture of a high enough definition to be used by YouTube — even the new HD standard.

Casio has been collaborating with Google which owns YouTube to develop digital cameras that capture YouTube optimized video and come with software that can upload the videos to your account with a single click.
