They say you can be neither too rich or too slim. Missed out on both.
But the new Casio Exilim, which comes eight years after that emaciated camera’s first model, is very slim AND is very rich in megapixels.

Kodak Easyshare M863 is for people who just want to take pictures. They would prefer them to be better pictures. Pictures with good color. Pictures which they will be proud to show. But they do not want to mess around with a lot of technical gubbins. Point the damn thing, press the button and another moment with the family is recorded for posterity.

Panasonic is showing off three new point-and shoot cameras, the DMC-FS15, DMC-FS7, and DMC-LS85. All three cameras will have price tags under $200, and are designed to cater toward consumers who want a nice camera but don’t have a substantial amount of money to spend on one.

Australia’s Kogan Technologies announced its Agora Android phone, two models of which it has been pre-selling for $268 or $200 (US dollars), announced it would not be shipping, as promised, on Jan. 29.

Macro photography is always seen as being too complicated for the average amateur. It is nothing of the sort. What you need most is a tripod. The rest is simply not very difficult.

Sony has a new Webbie HD cameras which is designed to capture life as it happens in high definition video (1440×1080 and 30 frames per second which is high definition MPEG 4 video and almost, but not quite, serious professional HD) and 5-megapixel still photographs.

The Underwater Digital Camera Swim Mask—Explorer Series from Liquid Image (such an excellent name) looks . . . odd. First it is a mask for swimmers and then it is a camera which will take pictures underwater without you carrying a camera. And at $100 it is at a very tempting price.

Geotagging is a new word and it will start to be important in digital photography in the very near future. Geotagging is the process of attaching a tag to a digital photograph which tells you where you took a picture.
