Canon announces EOS-1D Mark IV with HD video recording

Canon has announced the EOS-1D Mark IV, and it looks to be a killer.
Canon officially announced the EOS-1D Mark IV today, and it has a feature set that is impressive as all get out, but it has a price tag to match.








Canon is showing off a new addition to its Rebel line of digital SLRs: the Rebel T1i (EOS 500D). The DSLR takes pictures at a 15.1-megapixel resolution, and allows users to record 1080p high-definition video as well.

Canon has announced an update to its 5D camera. The Canon 5D Mark II will have a 21 megapixel CMOS sensor and be able to record full high definition video at 1920 x 1080 at 30 frames per second.

A recently published patent application indicates that Canon is working on a way to power your SLR with fuel cells. The new technology could mean saying goodbye to double A batteries, and hello to a much more efficient way to power your camera.
