Eye-Fi wireless memory cards add direct Facebook uploads

Eye-Fi, the makers of the first wireless memory cards on the market, has announced that you no longer have to wait to get those party videos onto Facebook, you can just do it directly from your camera.









Pretec has unveiled the first SDXC memory cards. The Secure Digital Extended Capacity cards were originally announced in January, and are now available for purchase. Currently the cards are available in a capacity of 32GB, however the company has plans to release cards with storage capacities up to 2TB (2048GB).
First there was secure digital cards that allowed us to store more pictures than we ever thought possible with traditional film. Then a few years later SDHC (Secure digital high capacity) cards were introduced that allowed us to store even more. Now- secure digital has gone a step further with the introduction of SDXC (secure digital extended capacity) with memory capacities up to 2TB and read/write speeds up to 104MB per second.
SanDisk has announced a new 32GB SanDisk Extreme CompactFlash Card. The card is the newest addition to SanDisk’s “SanDisk Extreme III” line of flash cards and combines fast data transfer rates with a large storage capacity.
Eye-Fi, makers of the world’s first wireless memory cards for digital cameras, recently announced new online photo sharing partnerships with Adobe and Nikon as well as its first nationwide retailer, Circuit City. The new partnerships should position the new company perfectly to spread the word about its new technology.
