Single use digital cameras fail on all counts

August 17, 2007

Single use digital cameras fail on all counts Rite Aid, CVS and Ritz camera all offer single use digital cameras and you pretty much get what you pay for.  I can’t help but mention the GE E850 at the start here since I reviewed it not too long ago and in that review I said “it was possible to do just slightly worse” well, these cameras are it.  Image quality was far below par, in fact most of them weren’t even usable as 4×6 prints, color tones were off and the processing fees made the whole ordeal almost not worth it.

Samsung offers new cameras to suppress image noise It’s no secret that the current digicam offerings from Samsung serve up lots of noise in any image but that may be about to change.  Currently the cameras are very stylish and that tradition continues, what hopefully will not continue is the image noise.

Cnet: Kodak’s C653 is clunky, slow and not worth low price

July 29, 2007

Cnet: Kodak's C653 is clunky, slow and not worth low price Another strike for Kodak, one of the lowest end models it offers, the EasyShare C653 was reviewed by Cnet and no one was impressed by it, not even the bystanders that were asked their opinion of the camera.
