Each year in the fall, as a way to prep the market for the all important winter holiday gift giving season, we see a flood of new point and shoot camera releases. The SD Association, the people responsible for making sure that all SD memory card items are compliant, has announced a new standard for the memory pins that will see data transfer speeds increasing by as much as 16 times.
