LensFolder gives you one photo folder for all your friends and family

LensFolder gives you one photo folder for all your friends and familyFinally there’s a way for people to coordinate all of the photos taken at an event thanks to LensFolder.

LensFolder is a new photo storage site that focuses more on the ability for people to make sure they get all the pictures that were taken at an event or location.  Say you have a family reunion, and all of the uncles, aunts, cousins and so on all brought cameras to take pictures.  There has been no easy way to coordinate all of those images and make sure that everyone gets every picture.  That is where this site comes in.

You set up a folder and then email everyone the login information.  They go to the site, login with the information you gave them, and then they add their photos to the folder.  Once everyone has done this, you return to the site and click the button indicating that the folder is done and you can download all of the images that have been placed there.

The service is free, and there is no indication as of yet that charges may be coming down the road, but even if they do there is a lot to be said for this idea.  Instead of sending out tons of emails, or having to go to a site like Facebook or Flickr and downloading one image at a time, this will take care of it all at once.  I can see where this would even come in handy at an event if you set up the folder before attending and you could hand out the login information to people so they would have it for when they got home.

Definitely a service to keep your eye on.
