Olympus announces three new consumer models just in time for the holiday season

It may only be the end of July, but it appears that Olympus is prepping for the holiday shopping season by announcing a range of five new point and shoot camera models.
Olympus has gone a bit nuts adding all sorts of new features, but the most notable are the new “Magic Filters” (which makes us think of those “magic fingers” massagers you used to run in to in hotels) that includes some of the following fun features:
- Pop Art: Enhances colors, making them stronger and more vivid to create high-impact pictures that express the happy, lighthearted feeling of the pop art style.
- Fish-Eye: Reproduces the dramatic effect of a fish eye lens, lending a new perspective to the whole scene with a “round” effect.
- Sketch: Gives the impression that subjects have been sketched by an artist by transforming images into line drawings.
- Pin Hole: Reduces the peripheral brightness like an image seen through a pinhole. Added to this is a unique colour tone that results in a style that has an air of secrecy or portrays the feeling of being lost in another dimension or space.
Due to the number of new units, we’re just going to run down the lists of features for each.
