I've done two shoots with this camera and love what I've seen via HDMI to my flat screen. EDIUS comes with the bundle and I have no comment as of yet. It's very light even with the XLR option and shot gun mic option. That translates to more shaky video,though the OIS helps a little bit. As far as the image,I'm happy as most of my "footage" was done at night with the help of LED lighting panels. Overall,alot of bang for the buck! Definately invest in the audio up-grades,as you will be very happy with the flexability and quality! Don't spend the money for something to make youtube videos. Bottom line,I like it alot for a "prosumer" camcorder. Big plus,no P2 cards!!! Don't expect to pick one up and know how to use it off the bat(only one ring assignable). That's my two cents!
