Nikon announces 3 new L-series cameras

Nikon has announced three new L-series cameras. The L100, L20m and L19 are designed for customers who are one a budget, but still want a quality camera. All three cameras have scene auto selector, which helps you select the correct scene setting for the shooting conditions you’re working under, and smile and blink warning to make sure the shot you take is the shot you want.
Here’s a rundown of the features you’ll find in each cameras:
Nikon L100
The L100 takes pictures at a 10 megapixel resolution. The camera has a 15x optical zoom, as well as a macro mode for taking pictures of items up close. The L100 has a sport’s continuous mode that takes pictures at 13fps, making it an ideal choice for someone who want to take pictures of fast moving thing such as a soccer game or people running. The camera has an ISO sensitivity range up to 3200 and motion detection to detect camera shake and subject moving during shooting and adjust accordingly.
Nikon L20 and L19
The L20 and L19 are relatively similar cameras. The L10 has a 10 megapixel resolution and 3-inch LCD and the L19 has a 2.7-inch LCD and an 8 megapixel resolution. Both cameras can record video, and have the scene auto selector that automatically selects the appropriate setting for your shooting conditions. The L20 will be available in black and red, and the L19 will be available in silver and pink.
These three cameras were part of a larger group of eight cameras that Nikon announced this week. Other new Nikon cameras include four new S-series shooters designed for speed and simplicity, as well as a new 12-megapixel ultra-zoom camera with a whopping 24x zoom. All of the cameras should be available in March of this year with price tags all under $300.
