Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T700; all the Sony virtues and Sony faults

December 28, 2008

Sony is a company that marches to a different drummer. An example: the boss of this Japanese company  is Welsh. Thus, as always, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T700 has been designed by Sony without too much regard to the other players.

50 megapixel camera: available now

December 27, 2008

Before anyone says that no one needs a 50 megapixel camera and no private owner has one, consider this: Nikon once ran an advertisement showing six very specialized lenses and said no owner in the world would have all of them. Nikon was soon proved wrong.

Photo tutorial: Turn your old wrapping cellophane into gels

December 26, 2008

The holidays may be over, but that doesn’t mean you can’t still get some use out of all your holiday trimmings. Canon 5D Mark II: Black mark to Canon for black spot

December 21, 2008
