Batch resize, reformat and watermark photos- for free!
If you’re taking pictures with a high megapixel camera, then you more than likely have ended up with a substantial amount of your hard drive filled with high resolution pictures. While high resolution shots are great when you want to print pictures out, they can be a pain when you want to send pictures via email or save a sizable amount of shots to a small key drive or digital photo frame.
Many of us resize pictures we plan on sending via email or using for other purposes. When you’re working with a substantial amount of pictures however, resizing each individual shot can be quite a pain as well. Picture Resize Genius is a program designed to help you resize a huge amount of pictures at once.
The program is fairly easy to use. You specify the width or height you need all your photographs (or whether you need a specific height or width but want to preserve the photos original proportions). The program then will resize all of your pictures at once to meet your specific demands. In addition to all that resizing goodness, Picture Resize Genius can also convert pictures into different file formats, so you can take all those JPEGs and make them GIFs or TIFFs, or whatever else you need.
If you took shots for a client you can also add a watermark or text overlay to all your shots at once using the program. I currently add watermarks to some pictures individually, so it’s nice to have the option to do literally thousands of shots at once rather than having to add a watermark individually to each shot.
Overall Picture Resize Genius seems like a great option when you need to deal with a huge amount of photos at once. You can download the program for free here.
