Top Websites To Share and Print Your Photos

By Emily Price

Tis the season to be sharing, and taking tons of pictures. If you take a lot of pictures of family or group events, then a photo-sharing site can be a great way to share all your shots with those present (or those across the globe who couldn’t make it) without spending a bundle in printing and postage cost. Here’s a list of some of the best photo sharing sites on the web where you can post your images.

Flickr

Flickr is the first site that everyone thinks of when they talk about photo sharing sites. The site is definitely one of the larger sites out there and integrates with a lot of different websites and blogs if you wanted to upload your pictures once but share them a variety of places. The site has a free option as well as a Pro option that include Geotagging and the ability to make prints for fifteen cents apiece.

Shutterfly

Shutterfly is one of the first online photo sharing sites I remember popping up. The site allows you to store an unlimited about of images on the site, and you can order prints of images for twelve cents a piece. An added bonus of Shutterfly is the ability to order a pretty huge array of products with your photos on them. The site offers photo books, cards, calendars, postcards, prints, and some pretty cool photo accessories like sterling silver bracelets and necklaces.

Photobucket

Photobucket seems to be a big favorite with people on social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook. Photobucket offers users 1GB of free storage space on an unpaid account, and then a whopping 5GB of storage on a pro account with unmetered bandwidth. Photobucket can also host video files, which is definitely a pretty cool feature. You can place orders for your prints and pick them up at your local target store (or send them to be picked up at a friend or relatives store across the country) and create things like skins for your laptop of iPhone with your prints.
