Scrapblog helps you make scrapbooks of your memories
Remember back in the old days when you used to cut up pictures and create scrapbooks of your trip to summer camp or the family vacation to Disney World? Now that most of us keep our pictures digitally rather than as prints, scrapbooking has become a slightly less popular hobby, or at least a slightly more difficult one. Scrapblog is a site designed to change that and get you back to scapbooking, but in a digital way. Finished books can be shared on the web, emailed to friends, and purchased as a printed version.
Scrapblog is pretty simple to use. To start you simply load the scrapblog builder and either select a theme or start with a blank page. There are over 18 pages of different themes to choose from. Some examples of themes include: New Years, Victorian Christmas, Yearbook, Fathers Day, Europe, and Vintage Newspaper. Themes typically contain several pages (the vintage newspaper version has three) so you can spice up your book as you go. Once you’ve selected a theme creating your scapblog is as easy as uploading your pictures and dragging them into the template where you want them.
Text:
All of the text on the pages is fully customizable to your needs. You can change the font, font size, color, and what the text actually says. The site also has a variety of text bubbles available if you want to have your pictures “talk” to you.
Stickers:
Each template comes with a variety of stickers to go along with it. You can drag and drop stickers onto your scrapblog pages and adjust their size or angle on the page to meet your scrapbooks needs.
Background:
If you’re not particularly enthralled by the preset backgrounds, each theme has a number of “blank pages” that can also be added to the book. The pages go along with the theme, but give you a little more flexibility with your page design.
Video
Video can be uploaded to the site as well as photos and put in your scrapbook. There’s an improvement over the original!
