What users and reviewers are saying:
“Given its advertised purpose as a ‘YouTube capture mode,’ the video quality is phenomenal. There are some compression artifacts, but quality is overall beyond expectations. If anything, Casio may be selling themselves short by association, as the video quality here rivals low-end camcorders.” – InfoSync
“The S10 is a good ultracompact camera when shooting in any well-lit area. If you are an amateur photographer who shoots mostly shots of outdoor events, family shots, or well-lit indoor events, the S10 could be the camera for you.”-Digital Camera Review
“All things considered, the EX-S10 is very much a snapshot camera and won’t suit photographers who like to be in control of exposure settings. However, the image quality is very good considering the minute size, and there are dozens of Scene modes to help get the best out of almost any shooting conditions. Best of all, the camera takes up so little pocket space that you can take it anywhere.”- Buy.com
Our comment:
What can we say? Given that the EX-S10 as a digital camera packs of the usual features that any camera on its line carry, I guess the most logical thing to look for is what else can it do? The EX-S10 definitely has more to offer than just being your usual P&S. The YouTube video capture mode and the excellent video quality top the EX-S10’s noteworthy features.
