What users and reviewers are saying:
“Beforehand I qualified the D60 as a successor to the Nikon D40x but officially there is no mentioning of it being a successor. We therefore will not say goodbye to the D40x but welcome a new Nikon family member; the Nikon D60.”- Let’s Go Digital
Our comment:
Although no major improvement on the D60 as compared to the features of its “highly successful” predecessor, Nikon DSLR fans might still be delighted with this new Nikon camera, especially those who are getting tired of their trusty old Nikon D40. Or in another perspective, the release of the D60 would also pull down the current price of the D40, giving photo hobbyists a chance to grab their long wanted tech toy.
