“Pentax’s Optio Z10 isn’t quite as nice as the company’s Optio S10, but its attractive price helps make up for its quirks and modest feature set.”-Philip Ryan

“It should be perfectly adequate for those looking for an ultra-compact, no-hassle point and shoot with decent image quality.”-Barney Beal

Our comment:

With a powerful 7x optical zoom packed in a slim and light digital camera, beginners would love and enjoy the Optio Z10 as their entry level camera. For the more advanced users who are into digital photography, this wouldn’t be bad as a back-up point-and-shoot camera (to complement a digital SLR, for example). This camera would fit that purpose well.
