Priced at US$399 the FinePix is a stylish lightweight, compact yet sturdy digital camera with a hugely versatile 18x optical zoom.

According to Fujifilm, the Finepix has all the features you would expect in a high-end digital camera, but at a price point consumers can afford.

Our comment:

The Finepix S8000fd rivals entry-level DSLRs, not only because of its 8 megapixel resolution, but also because of other features such as its 18x optical zoom lens and manual settings selection. It would definitely appeal to photo enthusiasts who are seriously considering shifting into DSLR but is not ready yet to take the plunge.
