“The latest in a successful series of ultra-compact cameras, the Pentax Optio S10 combines excellent build quality, simplicity of design and good all-round performance with a user-friendly ease of use. It compares well with other quality compacts from rival manufacturers, and its very good low-light performance makes it especially useful for social snapshot photography.”-Cliff Smith

“As the new leader in the Optio “S” line, the S10 has an upgraded image processor, and a noticeable improvement in performance from previous models. Combined with the continued overall good image quality, makes this a very good choice in the “ultra-compact” market. The only down side is it can be a little slow focusing so it is not recommended for shooting fast moving actions or subjects.”- Steve’s Digicams

“The camera is attractive to look at and works well enough. It is a good build and has a good lens. If you are looking for a point and shoot with a high resolution but little else, then take a look at this one.”-ePhotozine
