Sony announces latest Cyber-shot DSC-T2

Sony has announced the latest model in its Cyber-shot digital camera line, the new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2 digital camera. With five colors to choose from, point-and-shoot camera fans will be glad to know that the DSC-T2 is loaded with 4GB of internal memory. That means, it will take a long time before you’d need to download/delete photos to free up memory space.
The DSC-T2 is an 8.0 effective megapixel cameras that can produce up to 3264 x 2448 high-resolution photos. It comes with the BIONZ image processor for noise reduction and responsive operation.
As with previous Cyber-shot models, the DSC-T2 also uses the Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 3x optical zoom, which has image stabilization and focal length of up to 6.3 -19.0 mm. Its aperture ranges from f/3.5 – 5.6 (wide) / f/4.3 – 10 (tele).
Other features of the DSC-T2 which would make it stand out from the rest of the digital point-and-shoot camera in the market includes the album function which automatically sorts photos and allows fast searching by title, date or favorites, easy blog or photo sharing site uploads, and a 2.7-inch “Clear Photo” LCD that can be controlled via touch screen interface.
The DSC-T2 supports full HD TV output, plus PhotoTV HD mode, which will let you display your photos in an optimized mode on Sony Bravia TVs.
