For the point-and-shoot digital camera user on a tight budget, the Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd might well suit their needs. This mid-range digital camera from Fujifilm boasts an effective pixel resolution of 7.2 million. Very respectable for a digital camera in this class. It also has a 3x optical zoom.

Sony has announced the latest model in its Cyber-shot digital camera line, the new Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2 digital camera. With five colors to choose from, point-and-shoot camera fans will be glad to know that the DSC-T2 is loaded with 4GB of internal memory. That means, it will take a long time before you’d need to download/delete photos to free up memory space.
